Migration is the movement of people from one place to another. There are many types of migration, including internal migration and external migration. Internal migration means that people are moving within the same country or territory. External migration refers to the processes of immigration and emigration, which mean that people are leaving one region of the world to move to another. When people move from one place to another, the place they move from is called the Place of Origin and the place they move to is called the Place of Destination.
